Correctly Setting up Trusthosts on Fortigate Security.This means it will likely only work as AHCI, and require OS reinstallation. HP's info released in 2013 says the B110i will not support any drives over 2TB. so all bets are off of getting it to work under the raid controller at all. You have a Phoenix Bios, and HP's own B110i RAID OROM. you are not using an Intel raid controller on the motherboard (which is commonly paired with AMI bios). The drive will NOT be bootable though - NO OS. HOWEVER - if you have the correct Intel software and raid drivers installed in Windows, you can format the drive as GPT and have the full size available to work with. The Intel Matrix OROM has to be 10.5 or newer in order to support 2TB or larger. The drive size is truncated instead like an LBA size error. In RAID mode, the drive is not visible correctly because the ![]() In AHCI mode, the drive is visible to windows as a basic hdd. This change affects how the hardware is seen by windows. If you change the drive mode in the BIOS, you need to reinstall the OS.
